Rick Mania!

Rick Springfield was back in Milwaukee from May 7-9. His charity softball game was canceled to do the rain, but said he'll be back on August 14th at State Fair. This is my 3rd time seeing him. For him to be almost 60 (August 23rd) it was amazing! Never a dull moment at his shows. He comes out in the audience and balcony. He's so interactive with his fans and it's great to watch. My mom and I got front row balcony and I was excited because I know he usually comes up there during "Human Touch", but I heard the first night he didn't, but he did the second night. I was a little worried that he might not during his last show. For my sake, he did! HE HUGGED ME! He smiled and opened his arms out to me and I did the same thing. It was real quick. He hugged the front row as he went by singing.

I wasn't nervous meeting him like so many other artists I've met in the past. Mom went before me and she told him something and then I saw him look up at me, nod and smile. I walk up there and give him my cd. He signs it.
Rick: Hi sweetie, how are you?
Me: HI! I'm good how are you?
Rick: I'm fine. Your mom told me to give you a hard time.
Me: Oh.
Me: I love you. (I'm so stupid)
Rick: I love you too. Come here. *big hug*
*pic time*

Me: Thank you!
Rick: You're welcome. *rubs my back*
Rick: Take care sweetie! *big grin*

Mom said that I've become a bigger fan than her now. She said when she first fell in love with Rick as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital she was 13 and he was 30. When he reprised his role in 2005, I was 20 and he was 57.
